The Crime Prevalent in my Country

In the quest to get political power, some political contenders in northern Nigeria go to the extent of secretly migrating Almajiri's foreigners into the country to come and vote for them so that they can win the election by numbers, all things planned and put in place, they promise them huge sums of money and reward.

The greedy politicians hide this fellow in the Forest and after they have won the elections, they refuse to settle these Almajiris to go back to their country, when the migrants become so hungry, they begin to invade and steal from the closet settlers.

After this has gone on for a while, some set of people call this migrant leader and give them huge money and guns to work for them, they begin to command them and direct them to kidnap, abduct and kill. When this migrant sees lots of money and returns from kidnapping, they kill their master and begin to give themselves orders thereby becoming an uncontrollable terrorist group.

The everyday advancement in technology has made so many people invest digitally, millions of people invest money digitally and many people are also working hard to penetrate this site and still people's wealth.

Where I grew up in Maiduguri, Borno state of northern Nigeria, terrorism is just like a normal thing to us. I have experienced several gun-shut exchanges between the bandits and the corps. That was a bad experience that left society with no peace.

I was also dubbed by internet fraudsters, I engaged in a Ponzi scheme come a month ago and before I withdrew my money, the Investment site crashed. The way the site was designed to seem real but it was all a scam and the scammers took a lot of investors' money.

The penalty for these crimes is determined by the court of Law which may result in prison sentence or even death penalties. Offenders found guilty are charged and prosecuted by the court.

In some cases of murder or terrorist penalty, sometimes, if people around can catch such criminals, they administer “JUNGLE JUSTICE” which means the people take laws into their hands by instantly killing such criminals caught in the act.

A world without crime is a world that will be full of peace and calmness. I will feel happy and will have the opportunity to do more things with no fear, I know definitely that crime is not a good thing.

I will be excited because those experiences I had with the terrorist will be no more and in the future our children will be free from fear. A world without crime will be a world without justice for criminal prosecutions.

If the right thing is done and there is a good life, there will be no reason for the crime. One of the reasons why crime increases every day is because people are suffering, their rights are deprived, and there is no equity or justice among many, in response to this anger and hardship, people get involved in crimes to voice out or survive. If the good life is given to all and all individual hustle is supported, the rate of crime will reduce.

For the world to be free from crime, people have to deal with greed, selfishness, and wickedness. People have no conscience and they see it as nothing to loot or steal other people's property. The world can be a better place if we have a positive mind.

It is not good to engage in any crime because it is a sin and risky, let's work together to make the world a better place. Thank you for reading
