Hello friends,

This my post of showing you how I create a craft from an empty water bottle. Let me show you the steps.

Pen Holder

Ingredients

• Empty water bottle
• Clour papers
• Glue bottle
• A pair of scissors
• Pencil

Method

First I took an empty water bottle and using a scissor I cut the bottle. To cut the bottle I first measure the bottle and marked the limit of 15cm. Then I cut the bottle top with the lid. You can clearly see that in the given images.

Then I took a colour paper. I took a green colour paper as I like it. Then I cut the A4 paper in a length of 15 cm and pasted it on the bottle. When pasting I made sure that the paper is neat and pasted without tearing or with lines. Then I kept it to dry otherwise it can damage easily.

The next thing is the decorations that I suppose to add to my craft. I wanted to give the effect of kitty to my craft. So I did the drawings according to that. I drew two eyes, a nose, two years and a bow for the cat face. I used some interesting colours and a good combination of colours to the art.

As you can see I have pasted the small items in a nice way. Now the pen holder is ready to hold the pens.

In this way I made a craft using an object which is not in use. This is called upcycling. This method introduces less wastage of things. The 3R system is the base for this way of creating things from used items. I think we should always make sure to use the waste materials in what ever the way we can. Many types of waste materials can be reused in many new ways. The only thing is we need to think a little bit and be creative.
