6:50am: On The Move
By that time, we were done loading our belongings on the hired vehicle that we had booked. He came as agreed and we were already set for the movement. Trust my kids, they couldn't sleep because of the journey. They had talked a lot about it and about how they ate going to enjoy in the village.

The journey was a smooth one. We only stopped at Ikot Ekpene to buy Akara and bread to hold hunger.
We weren't disturbed by the police at their various check points since the driver was familiar with most of them. We were on uniform as a family and as such, there was no question of whose kids are you with.
We got the the village and off-loaded our luggages and went in to clean up everywhere. My kids went out to check on their Auntie in the village square but couldn't find her. Then they went to the stream but I didn't know of it. When I was done, I went in search for them only to find out that they have gone to the stream. I went there too and saw them already bathing.
After meeting with them, I caught sight of a nearby rice farm to the river, then I went closer to take a look and to take some pictures and video to share with you. I have uploaded some below, you can do well to take a look at them.

 | along out way, I say this rice they are sun-drying. Once it dries, they will take it to the mill to remove the chaff before it will be ready to be eaten |

Limited Network connection
The major challenge here is poor internet connection. It's really not steady but I am managing to stay online. I move a little from our house in search of internet connection and that is why I have been a little offline. I am not happy about that but I am trying.
The next diary will be a big news. You won't want to miss it. Just stay tuned.
On the overall, I enjoyed our trip and it was a smooth ride. More experiences are loading.

Thank God for the smooth journey that you had with your kid. Stopping at Ikot Ekpene to buy Akara and bread to hold hunger is very necessary when traveling. I did that few days ago. I am sure your lovely children's enjoyed the akara and bread.
