Last days of sun before ‘Cyclone Belal’ pays us a visit this weekend!

The weather forecast for Mauritius does not look too good as from tomorrow until next Wednesday…

A cyclone is forming near to our island!

We just hope that it does not make too much damages when passing near us.

It is expected to come the closest to Mauritius on Monday where we are a risk of floods and violent wind gusts.

Though it was quite windy, but it was such a lovely weather these two days!

Weather changing already…

While I write this post, I can hear some gradually increasing wind gusts…

Tomorrow things will start getting bad, with clouds coming over the island until we get hit by the cyclone on Monday!

Below are some photos I took hours ago before sunset from the roof of my house!

You can notice how clouds are coming over and the sunset is kind of different than usual!

Let’s hope and pray that the cyclone does not affect us too much.

The aftermath of a cyclone is not something nice and those who have been through can relate.

I can already feel about the rise in prices of all veggies and fruits as from Wednesday next because of the weather.

It would be great if the cyclone does not come near us…but most of the meteo models around the world are predicting it to be near us on Monday!

Scary but that’s life…we just need to take maximum precautions while staying indoors.

Will keep you posted on the evolution of the cyclone.
