My only long-haired cat "Dexter" likes laying flat on the floor or where-ever else he wants.

He's the only cat out of my 11 that won't run and hide when a stranger knocks on the door. In fact he will greet the strangers and check them out. I raised him from a month old orphan, but is an independent cat. Doesn't sit in my lap or sleep with me....
