Light and dark, life and death, good and bad, young and old, left and right, hot and cold...
it seems like everything in life has an opposite.
And yet, they are not just opposites - they are actually complementary forces that balance each other out.

You can’t fully understand and appreciate one side of the duality until you have experienced the other side as well.
What would light be without shadow? What would happiness be without suffering?
If we don’t have an opposing counterpart then something can’t have value to us.

Some dualities are fixed (like life and death) and there’s nothing we can do about - we can simply accept it as a fact.
But other dualities like right or wrong, good or bad, are entirely made up in our minds - WE have the power to decide which side of the duality we manifest into our existence.
