... but his family is an important part of my life, just like my real family. We grew up together and went through ups and downs of life. We both moved to Germany in 1994, we served in the army, we were in the security service together and much moreβ¦
But what is this photo about?
Well, the last days were full of surprises.
1οΈβ£ He told me he was going to be a father, which made me very happy. But that was not all.
2οΈβ£ The next surprise: he's getting married soon.
3οΈβ£ But the biggest surprise (after becoming a father): he will marry on August 28th, which is my birthday. I'm sure he's only doing this so that I will never forget his wedding day. π
After all these surprises during the last days, he picked me up with his father and we went to look at suits for him. Later we went to his parents' house where the table was already set and a few more family members came. It was a very wonderful day.
So this picture was taken after dinner and a few bottles of Russian Vodka. πΎπ€―
Unfortunately I can't celebrate with him because of the corona crisis. By law only the closest family members of him and his wife are allowed to be together. For this they even have to leave Hamburg and go to a village outside of Hamburg, because it is not allowed here.
I am really sad about it, but I only care that everyone is happy and healthy. π
With all that being said - I wish you days full of surprises as well. π

With the pandemic - all over the World social gatherings are being limited! In india its around 50 people max; but the irony is that Indians have huge families and if two families are united by marriage, the number is impossible to stay below 50! My brother is planning on getting married too, but because of the pandemic, he may postpone it by 6 months.. Anyways! Very happy for your brother π
