... to the darkness more than a couple of times this iso. While we may have lost many of our perceived freedoms due to Covid, one thing that’s in unlimited supply is nature. Even if you live in the city, the sun rises and sets every day. ☀️ There are parks full of trees just begging to be climbed or sheltered beneath. 🌳 Birds chirping and flying overhead like the whole world is their oyster. 🐦 Every afternoon as we walk around the local reserve, I watch my toddler delight at all the goodies nature has to offer him. He doesn’t care that we visit the same place every day, or that he’s not had childcare with his friends in over three months. All he cares about is that he gets to go OUTSIDE - and as far as I see it, exercise is grounds to do that every day in most parts of the world right now. Kids are our greatest teachers. If you don’t have one, act like one. Get outside and get really fucking present with what you do have available to you right now (hint: it’s a LOT). A curious and playful spirit is an antidote to these times. Nature is medicine. 🍃
