What is Discord:

Everybody can create so called „Servers“. In these Servers you can create different Channels with different purposes. On the side you can put Channels in different Categories to keep your Server organized.

Discord has even a cool function with so called „Roles“. With these Roles Members have different permission like only read, not visible etc.
