Where are you located? I just downloaded the Appics app. Feeling it out. I’m in the USA and I noticed when the platforms started cutting off USA customers a few years back that there was no way to get my STEEM off of steemit being here. Where do you trade APX if I were to earn it on Appics? I stopped using steemit because of the lack of trade ability.

im in the US & trying to see if its worth getting back into aswell, but heres what ive found so far:
-trading steem is easy on bittrex
-apx is traded & can be bought on https://newdex.io/ (but you need to buy BTC, then trade it for EOS, then trade that for APX)
-you can buy power from https://power.appics.com/

When I click the link to trade from Steemit it sends you to Poloniex only from what I see. Am I missing something somewhere where you can just send your steem to any address instead?

As @randumb said , and because Appics is still in test mode and should be fully launching in the first quarter or so of 2021 off of the ateem network and onto a much faster Telos Network, transacting will become easier and available on more exchanges after the launch. 👍😊 This is also why there are issues with the app right now due to steem-engine as well as preparing to migrate. Stay tuned it will get better by spring!!👍👍👍

Yeah I noticed some articles dated last year about Telos and then it had me sign up with my steem account so I was confused. So it’s still switching over. That’s good to hear. I loved being on Steemit a few years ago but it never advanced past where it was and then got worse. Really hoping for a good blockchain social media platform or two to take hold. The community, support and obviously decentralization is so much better than where the traditional social media has been heading.
