I got to know about an ongoing contest titled " MY PASSION" by @hauptman I realised ...

... that this is a great opportunity for me to post one of my paintings .
From my previous posts am sure most of you would already know that I am an artist.
I started my art journey in the year 2017 to study fine art and design, although I had some disapproval from my uncle, it took alot if courage to disagree with him, but with the support of my mum, aunt and grand uncle I was able to start my journey .
Art was different from what I imagined it to be, it was hard to me initially because I wasn't good as I thought I was , I had alot of competition and setbacks, which pushed me to work more on developing myself.
My first and second year in school was really challenging, I was having issues in choosing an aspect of art to specialise in, I wasn't good in painting back then but I love and admire artistic paintings , I love the beauty of colours, how unifying and glamorous it looks especially when applied on a canvas or any other surface
Due to my love and interest for painting, I started an extra class on painting so as to develop myself before specializing the next year. I improved alot after specializing and it gave me joy that I was practicing. But to be sincere I wouldn't say it was easy actually it wasn't.
At some point it was really frustrating, those times I had to work all night for days just to conclude and submit an art work , those period when I lack inspiration to paint known as an (Artist Blur) but I made it through, that's why is called " passion" a strong compelling emotion that drives me not to giveup because I love what I do.

This painting is one of my favorite paintings tittled ( child's play) it shows the easy and significant nature of every child, the nature of anticipation, expectancy and curiosity.
I love this art because it reminds me of my childhood, how curious and free I was , filled with anticipation of what this world holds . Life was easy with no thought of worry or complications. Am sure you can all relate with this .
