Aresbaran or Qara Dagh forests are one of the most beautiful forests in Iran. These forests are remnants of the million-year-old Hyrcanian forests located in the north of East Azerbaijan and the southern part of the Aras River. The diversity of wildlife in this area is so high that it is called the Wildlife Museum of Iran. In this region, the plant diversity is very high and in addition, the vegetation that exists in Arasbaran is rare in the world. Plants such as hornbeam, walnut, oak and yew grow a lot in these forests. Animals such as foxes, wolves, brown bears, jackals and deer, etc. and birds such as eagles, hawks, partridges are also curtains.
