QUETTA: 149 out of 678 schools inactive, 25 teachers absent for 2 years
Out of 678 schools of education department established in Quetta, 149 schools were revealed to be inactive and 25 teachers were continuously absent for the last 2 years.
This was disclosed in the review meeting of District Education Group chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Quetta Muhammad Anwar Kakar.
RTCM presented a report in the meeting and said that there are 25 teachers in Quetta who have been absent continuously for 2 years. .
Meanwhile, details of 678 schools in Quetta were presented, including 149 non-functional schools.
Apart from this, Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Anwar Kakar said that the absent teachers will be reported on a daily basis in Quetta, who will be continuously absent and those teachers who are sitting elsewhere and taking their salaries or those teachers who have not paid their allowances. Departmental action will be taken against the teachers who are kept in their place.
