Better Life with Steemit|| The Diary Game || A day in orphanage

Gusty wind and load thundering woke me up at 5 in the morning. The winds sprinkled my face with cold droplets as a result I stood up and slapped the glass windows shut to prevent my bed from getting drenched.

I wake up at 8 am and switch to steemit. It is the weekend but I am devoid of any rest. I take breakfast and drive towards Srinagar. I am yet to recover from yesterday's tiredness but today I am going for a social cause.

An orphanage run by J&K Yateem Trust (NGO)has called for a district-level meeting today to discuss some important issues.
We reach the office of the orphanage at 10 and wait until 11 for other members to arrive.

The meeting began at 11:30 and a lot of issues were deleberated4 upon. The good thing about the meeting was that I got to interact with unit in-charges from different districts. Besides, the session was productive as the discussions turned out to be fruitful and will go a long way to guide us in social work.

After Noon

The management of the orphanage arranged the lunch for us, so we have it there. After lunch, we offer prayer and leave for our homes.
I reach home at 3:30 and I immediately lie down in my room. Sleep was waiting with its arms wide open and as soon as I lie down it embraced me.

Evening

A phone buzz wakes me up at 5 o clock. It was Abu and he wants me to pick him up from nearby village. So, I bring him home. At home, MoM offers me a cup of Namkeen Tea.
After having tea I start writing my diary and the thunder suggests the arrival of new rain spell. I go out with friends and get drenched in rain. I return home when it is dark. I have to draft some applications and after that I will take dinner.
