the final full day of our South Dakota adventure took us back to Rapid City for the day. First stop was Bear Country USA. What a cool place to visit! It was a drive-thru wildlife Safari with a small walk around zoo attached - all North AmericAn animals, I believe. The bears were right outside of our car! We saw so many cool animals. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Then we headed to lunch at Firehouse Brewing Co., which was in an old firehouse. We stopped at a neat little hobby shop that sold anything you can imagine if you are into side hobbies: models, model train sets, model airplanes, space stuff, kids activities, drones, etc. Around downtown Rapid City, they had these wonderfully sculpted bronze figures of historical figures on the street corners. We snapped a few pics of them, and there were lots - we only captured a few in pictures. Next up, the candy shop. This place was huge and the kids definitely found some goodies for our trip home 🍭🍬
