Greetings to y'all, I'm @bclinton and i joined the steemit platform some few weeks ago in which I was mostly concerned about completing my achievement tasks so I can fully intergrade into the steemit community. So far I have completed my Achievemen1 task which was all about introducing my self. Equally completed my Achievemen2 task based on security here in steemit. Presently my Achievemen3 task is yet to be verified and it curation period of 7days has expired. Please I will be so grateful if the #greeter team help in the verification, so I can proceed to the next task. Similarly my achievement1 task was verified after the curation period had expired and I was instructed by @ghostfacer99 the Greeter helper who verified it,to include my achievement1 link to my recent posts so it curation by @steemcurator03 as stated by @cryptokannon a Greeter member in a must read post for newcomers in the newcomers community,will be done(upvotes) in my most recent post. I did and it wasn't curated.
I know there's so much work done by the greeter team but I want to say you should try checking out for these newcomers(me included) as most of them get discouraged on the way because the feel unnoticed.
Equally for any newcomer(s) more recent reading this post, you are most welcome to steemit and you took a create step joining this wonderful platform, steemit. But you should know steemit is not a "get rich quick" platform, take your time,learn everything you need to know about steemit and complete your achiement tasks. Be patient and stay active, your work will be rewarded today, tomorrow or in a month's time but eventually it will be rewarded as it's frequently said in my country #cameroon " a patient dog eats the fattest bone".
I want to personally thank the Greeter team for the work they have been doing so far in order to assist us newcomers go through the hard times in this journey of successful steeming.
