Hello everyone, good day to you all steemians my name is Obineche Chukwu Frank. The purpose of this post is to share with you guys my blogging experience on the steemit platform.
I joined the steemit platform last month. I have already had some blogging experience on other platforms although they don't give rewards for blogging. Receiving a reward in the form of payout for blogging is good and worth trying. When I first joined this community and saw how many bloggers were here and how great they all wear with their very much interesting topics, I asked myself "can I make it up to their level?". It was really hard to convince myself to try. There were so many rules and many confusing things like The markdown stylings which were hard for me to do. After reading up to 4 different posts about markdown stylings, I started practicing them until I had learned the most basic ones and immediately I used them in my posts. And up till today am still learning the rest of them which are more complex.
After I posted my first post, I was so happy and eager to see how many upvotes I have gotten. But to my greatest dismay at 2 upvote and $0.02 only . I hurriedly called my friend who introduced me to steemit and asked him if this was also how hard it was for him at the beginning, he laughed at me and told me that the key to succeeding here on steemit is Hard work, patience, and perseverance. With those words of his, I dedicated myself to putting more effort into the platform and joining more communities. It wasn't easy and it's still not easy today.
I joined more Communities on steemit and did my introductory posts. Introductory posts were great to start especially getting my Achievement 1 verified in the steemitnursery community. I felt so happy and it even encouraged me more.
In general, I have not yet had any rewards from any posts, but with the help of my friends, communities, and also my hard work, I hope to start earning too. Blogging here on steemit was a good decision that I made. Reading interesting content written by other members, commenting on them and upvoting them, and also having others read mine is a very great idea.
I sincerely hope this post will be enough about my blogging experience on steemit @steemitnursery. Thanks to @bright-obias for bringing up such a nice contest.
Thanks to you all in this community.
Steem on.
