Contest:My first steps on STEEMIT @kyara2

Greetings steemians, I wish all of you a happy Sunday today. I am gladly here to write about my first steps in steemit which are as follows;

When I first got to know about steemit, I was in my lecture room reading when @yohan came in and asked for our attention in class and educated us about steemit. I dint think twice when I asked him to help me sign up because I had already appreciated everything I had learnt that day. It took us some good time but in one way or the other, we got finished and on that same day, I posted my introduction in the new comers community.

I was so glad to be part of steemit but by then? I only knew about how to post and insert images. I hadn’t gone further to know anything else about how steemit works. I always read through some posts in different communities and started learning much more than I had before.

I thank God I participated well in the new comers community and I was able to be verified till my fourth achievement. It was not very easy but I somehow managed. As per now, am looking forward to starting on my fifth achievement about the steemit tools. Am still reading about it and this starting week am sure I will have gotten enough knowledge on them. In this way, I always resteem some posts that I find are a lot more benfitial to me and others for easy tressing when I need them. After my fifth achievement, I am also going to write about the sixth one which is about how you understand things like curation and others. Fir now, I have some small idea about curation though it’s not enough for me to create my article as yet.

I have been able to learn some new things on steemit that I had never known of before. For example crypto, bitcoin, trade money markets. I used to hear about Bitcoin but I had no idea on what it was really until I joined steemit and now I know it and it’s beneficiaries. I have learnt the rates that are favorable to trade in the different money markets. How to use different apps like Poloniex. And I know am still learning a lot more here.

So far, I have it learnt on how exactly to use the steemit tools and I don’t know them but am yet to know this because it is my next assignment so as to complete my fifth achievement in the new comers community.

On steemit, I have met some few people and they are all good. I have no problem with anyone but the two people that I have met and I always appreciate them for helping me out in different ways on this platform are; @yohan my country representative. He helped me know about steemit and still supports me till today. Whenever am stuck, he is always available to listen and help. I really appreciate him. The second person is @enveng. Well I really like her because as far as I know, she is a genuine person as well as a well wisher for others. I love fashion and design and art too. She helped me showcase my skills and I was very happy because I read through different people’ articles on how to transform waste material and put it in use. They were all interesting and I participated. From then I liked her because she unturned a stone for me.

The user on steemit that I admire is @cryptokannon . Am always reading through her posts because they help new comers, they give a lot of clues on how to understand steemit. Her posts are to help new comers know how to use Steemit. Personally, when I was writing my achievements, I read through her posts and understood them. I made more research which helped me get to the verification process. And I want to be like her someday.

In sixth months time, I see myself like my professor @yohan, guiding others and teaching them about steemit. And by that time I hope to have know and understood everything that I need to about steemit. My goal is to build a whole lots of steem power and also support those that need my support at that time.

Well to me, it is and has been easy for me to influence my friends to join steemit. I start by telling them I want to share an opportunity with them that I know of. Then I tell them just what I was told when I heard of steemit the first time. I tell them you have to be a creative writer, make your articles, and post, I advice them to join many communities and read through different posts and learn how people do their things, get to know ongoing contests and participate, always comment and keep active on the platform. And I am glad I have helped three of my friends join and they are happy being on steemit. They are @dalvin, @hamdain and @peace127.
