first you have to exchange sbd with steem, in the market place in your wallet on your blog, and after you exchange sbd to steem, then you can do power ups, because you do power ups with steem, so you have to exchange them first, such as I have changed everything to steem, and I did a power up, to add steem power, and after you have converted sbd to steem, then friends press on the steem part as I screenshot this.
Doing a Power Up has several advantages. First, make your positive voice more valuable. Each STEEM value you have Power Up will increase the value of every sound you give to another Steemian, STEEM Power - same as STEEM. Although SP will show how much influence you have in the Steemit community. The more SP you have, the more your vote will determine.
Second, with Steem Power more than the STEEM value will make it more profitable because if we upvote other people, we will get a large claim reward, and also be able to help other people, by giving upvotes if we have steem power.
While the disadvantage is that you cannot immediately withdraw STEEM because you have to "Power Down" for a certain period of time, if one day you want to withdraw and transfer this cryptocurrency. We will discuss in detail what "Power Down" is.
