Hello everyone as we know that steemit is booming everywhere and on daily basis, a lot of people are joining steemit to get something extra, as steemit is contributing a lot financially to the lives of many people including me as well as others.

But when a new person joins steemit he faces many problems and today I am going to collect these problems and their solutions so that a newcomer can easily overcome these problems. It is a common thing for all the people that when they join anything which is new for them they may be confused in that.

Wrong Community

It has been found that many people do posts in the wrong communities especially the newcomers. Even they post their introduction post in other communities except to publish in the newcomer's community.

There are also some cases that the newcomers do not see the community and publish their posts and after posting the content they realized that they have posted in the wrong community.

Solution: You should see the community before doing a post. And here you can find the different communities according to their topics. In this way, you can easily find a community of your interest and do your best.

Plagiarism (Copy Paste)

The other most important issue that newcomers face is "plagiarism". Newcomers do not know about plagiarism and they simply copy and paste the content of others without giving the credit of the content and lose their reputation.

"Plagiarism means that you have stolen content (including quotations, paragraphs, pictures) of others without their permission or giving them credit."

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited in the steemit

Solution: Dear newcomer fellows the solution of this problem is quite simple that do not copy other's content and if necessary to use any quotation then give credit to the original creator. Header And Footer

Many of the newcomers even do not know about the "Header and Footer" which is basic thing to start here. They do not know where to add Title of the post, main theme, and Content of the post and even they do not know about the tags.

Solution: Here is the complete solution of this problem with te help of the screenshots.

• The first section is for the "Title" of the post.
• In the second/centeral section you have to write your post's main "Content".
• In the third and last section you have to give "Tags". Your tag is represents a complete category. And you have to give tags according to your post's content and title. You can only use Maximum 8 Tags with small letters and without any special character.

For Example:

For The Diary Post: #thediarygame, #steemexclusive, #yourcountry, #betterlife, #photography

For The Beauty Of Your Area: #beautyofarea, #steemexclusive, #yourcountry, #photography

Similarly you can use the tags according to your content.

Image and Video Uploading

Most of the newcomers are not familiar in uploading their pictures in the post and videos also. And most of the users consider that they only upload only one picture.

Solution: It is very simple and quite easy to upload pictures and videos on steemit.

Insert images by dragging & dropping, pasting from the clipboard, or by selecting them.

You can upload images to steemit by clicking on the selecting them It will move you to your gallery and from there you can upload your images.

But to upload videos directly to steemit is impossible. To upload videos you have to upload firstly your video to YouTube or DTube. After uploading there you have to copy that URL and Paste here. Now you have uploaded your video to Steemit.

Rewards Power Up 100%

The newcomers also do not know about the 100% Power Up and they also do not know How to set up their posts 100% Power Up?As But I have seen many newcomers have written in their post 100% Power Up even they have not set their posts for 100% power up.

Solution: Rewards power-up means that you have set your post's rewards only to increase your Steem Power and in this way, you will not get any other coin except Steem Power. You will receive SP equal to the value of your post's worth.

How To Set Up Your Post For 100% Power Up?

It is very simple and easy to set your post for 100% power up. You will see a section at the left side above the Post Button You have to click there on the Advanced Settings You will see there Author Rewards as shown below.

Click on the Inverted Triagnle of 50% SBD / 50% SP. Now you will see there these three options:

• Decline Payout
• 50% SBD / 50% SP
• Power Up 100%

You have to choose there Power Up 100% and update the settings. Now you have set your post for 100% Power Up.

Voting Issue

Newcomers are also not familiar with the voting system. They do not know what is Upvote and Downvote? And most of the users beg for votes in the comment section but it is of no use. And many users do not do upvotes and some of the users do votes but mistakenly they do Downvotes. The newcomers do many votes and loose their voting power.

Solution: It is requested to all the users especially Newcomers to upvote new posts so that they get Curation Rewards but according to your voting power which decreases almost 2% at one 100% Upvote. You can easily check your Voting Power by using SteemWorld a tool by @steemchiller

• Upvote: The green upward sign below the post is used for the upvote. It means you have liked that post and the reward of that post will increase.

• Downvote: The red downward sign below the post represents the downvote. If you do not like that post you can downvote. Due to downvote the reward of that post will be deducted according your Steem Power.

Resources (RCs)

Mosty of the newcomers do not know about Resources (RCs) that are used to do a post in the steemit. Newcomers do mistakes and edit their posts several times. As they have small Steem Power so all their resources run out and they become unable to publish anymore. In this way become worry about their account, They thought that their account has been banned by Team or any other problem what come to their mind. But this problem occurs only to those accounts which have very small Steem Power.

Solution: Newcomers should read their post once before posting so that they can save their Resources (RCs). They should check their resources all the time. And they should do posts according to their Resources (RCs). They can check their resources by entering their username in these websites.

Newcomers do not do any engagement with other users and they do not get any response from anyone except a few persons. So they become disappointed. They do not even upvote or comment on other's posts.

Newcomers Do Not Read Complete Posts

Newcomers do not read complete posts but it cause problem when they participate in any of the contest. They do not read all the rules and regulations of the contest to participate. And they participate in the contest and their entry to the contest do not count. In this way all of their hard working go to hell and their entry will not count as a participant.

Solution: Newcomers should read all the post deeply and completely especially when they are participating in any contest so that their entry do not become useless.By reading the complete post carefully they can also learn new things. So please read all the rules and regulations of the contests and give accurate and suggested tags to your post.

What Is Resteem and How To Resteem?

Newcomers do not know about resteem. Resteem means reblogging. It means that if you resteem anyone's post that post will start showing on your blog. In m,ost of the contest there is a rule top resteem post but newcomers do not know how to resteem?

Solution: You can resteem any post simply. At the bottom of the post and at the most left corner of the post you will see an Arrow just like Enter Key. If you click on it, it will ask you "Do You want to resteem?" Then Click OK. Now you have resteemed that post and it will start showing on your blog.
