In 1947, banker Andy Dufrance was sentenced to life in prison (twice) for killing his wife and her boyfriend. Despite repeated denials, he was sent to the infamous Shashanka Jail. Arriving at Shashanka's prison, Andy sees other aspects of life. That form is ugly, difficult, and unjust. Again he finds friendship there, most likely the first real friend of his life. Andy had no desire to end his life in Shashank's prison. So Andy started digging the tunnel. After digging the tunnel little by little for 19 years, the spectators were finally mesmerized when he stood with his hands clasped in the rain in the open air. Shashank Redemption has become a symbol of liberation, freedom, and patience among movie lovers all over the world.

After his release, Shashanka Redemption did not make much of a splash. Not at the box office or at award shows. But over time, Shashank has become one of the most popular movies. All the big names have topped the IMDB top 250 list's No. 1 movie. What exactly is the reason? How did the above-average movie, which was at the time of its release, come to the fore in the competition for the best movie of all time after twenty years?

Andy was 19 years in Shashank's prison. His goal for these 19 years was to get out of this prison. That is why his efforts are so laborious. The important thing is that Andy did not drown in his goal of escaping from this prison. Life in prison is not happy. For an innocent man, there is probably no place as ruthless as Shashanka. But Andy didn't deny that life. He made friends in prison. Had a nice time with friends. Worked with friends for friends. He has written letters for 6 consecutive years to build a library in the prison. And despite all this, he was unwavering in his original goal the whole time. In a word, he was busy living. Coming to Shashanka's prison, Andy misunderstands the first part of his life. He realizes that all the forgotten goals in life can be achieved by running after them, but there is nothing but emptiness in the back.

This is how human life is. Everyone has a goal in life. Most people go to think of this destination and forget about Journey. But just as important as achieving goals is the way to achieve goals. Andy Shashank, who chased after the forgotten goal in his first life, came and he never made a mistake. He enjoyed the horrible aspects of prison life as much as he enjoyed the safari. This is the redemption of his life. And so for 19 years, little by little, he has moved towards his goal. And so even after reaching the destination, he has found back a genuine friend like Red and a bunch of good memories.

There is a lot of controversy about Shashanka redemption. Is Shashanka overrated? Is Shashanka really worthy of so much praise? One thing that is clear to me is that Shashanka redemption is no longer overrated, no matter how many lessons about life are hidden in the midst of a surprisingly simple story.

Thanx for reading me and love you all. Hope you like it and plz support me support me so that i can write more. See you next time.
