The dairy game (my Friday activity) 13th August,2021_ my stressful day delicious meal

Hello beloved steemit family. I want to talk about my day. 13th of August 2021,it seems to be very stressful for me but it turned out very nice . I felt the urge to make a delicious delicacy today,normally known as Afang soup.

Afang soup to Akwa Ibomite, we don't seem to joke about this delicacy,it's loved by alot of people. Different tribes in Nigeria do try this food and they love it,but it's not everybody that can cook it .

Afang soup is a mouth watery delicacy that is made from: Waterleaf: this can be found in the market. Its planted in farmbeds. It sometimes grows by itself .(it has to be cut)
Afang: this is a leaf that can be grown in a farm.(it has to be grinded)
These are the major ingredients for the food to have its taste. We have other ingredients as periwinkle, meat(any meat of choice), animal skin,pepper,Maggi,onions,salt,palm oil,dried fish and stockfish .After washing everything;

The meat has to be steamed with dried fish and stock fish with onions and pepper,Maggi and salt to taste. The meat stock will be used for the soup. When the meat is soft enough for the teeth to crush,palm oil is added,waterleaf and periwinkle,dried fish and stock fish to make the food rich. Salt and Maggi is added to taste. Then lastly,the afang leaf to give it that afang smell and taste. Yummyyyyyyy!!!!!! It can be served with any swallow of choice but I will go with garri(cassava flakes)...this food contains mineral and vitamins and it helps with constipation.

This delicious meal was enjoyed by my family and they all loved it and washed it down with a chill bottle of water. The praises I got from them was much. Everybody deserves to eat this yummy delicacy.
