Work work work

I was going to be TV presenter but the new TV station bankrupted before opening - covid reality

I am running out of time to do everything I have planned during the day, and I am very happy about that. Yes, you read it right - I'm happy about it. Most of the days over the past year have been pretty monotonous - with no work neither many household chores, I watched 90% of Netflix movies and series and grew quite a thick layer of fat on my belly. Once in the last two years I was close to get the good job which would keep me busy - new TV station offered me the job, but unfortunately covid and new tax law forced them to postpone the project of news tv. This situation had a very negative effect on my well-being. Today I may be late with doing something on time, because I always have a lot to do, but the feeling of duty gives me adrenaline and endorphins.

I was asked to write three articles to some newspapers, two of which I accepted (about the journey, easier to write) and the third had to be denied due to lack of time (about post-covid policy in Argentina. Exciting but requires a lot of research - I will write it later). Sometimes I write a few words to the newspapers that will ask me to do it, mostly small, local titles and always pro publico bono - they don't pay me for that. So before joining steemit I was writing a lot, but always for free.

Broken game

on the streets of Rosario

During my break from work, I went for a walk with @willeusz, paid some bills, visited several stores to find cheap and interesting pants that we are going to buy as a gift for our boyfriend, Krzysiek, and went to pick up the Nintendo game that Will had left for repair. Unfortunately, the game cannot be saved.

The history of this game is quite compicated and the fact that it cannot be fixed is my fault and a warning to how much harm can come from ignoring cultural differences: the game broke already three years ago when we were in Bolivia, Cochabamba. We went to a mechanic asking for a repair. He watched the game carefully, said the cost would be 100 BOB, promised to call me when the game will be repaired or if the price will have to change. Happy, we agreed to the terms, and after a week we received a call that the game was ready to pick up. However, when we got there the price changed from 100 BOB to 400 BOB which I didn't have in my wallet. If the mechanic would call as promised I would have asked him to hold off on repairing until I get the money, but since he didn't, I couldn't pay. I said in a polite but angry way what do I think about it, how inappropriate this behavior is and I said honestly that I did not have the money to pick it up.

In Europe, it would be most likely that the mechanic would have to consider it his fault and give the game back at the price he quoted at the beginning. Alternatively, he could unfix it to make it like it was before. I wouldn't even think that the mechanic can destroy it more, as in my country he would risk that way that: a) he will be sued and he will loose thousands of dollars b) his rate in internet and social media will be down-voted and he will loose most of the clients.

In Bolivia apparently it's not the problem. Nobody cares about the opinion in internet or social media, as not many people use it to check the reviews and nobody cares about being sued, especially by the foreigner. He completely broke the game, so that today even the official Nintendo team is unable to fix it.

Steemit

new project: "let's talk about..."

In the previous post I mentioned that I found an idea for myself, but I have to make a few more small decisions. I've talked about writing about food, travel, "let's talk about" serie, and keeping the Diary Game. I was not sure in which communities I could write about the last three things. Today I seem to have found the perfect community to post my own thoughts on a regular basis. I'll be doing it every other day here. Today I published one of the episodes, which I strongly encourage you to read: about material goods.

I also try to spend more time reading content posted by others and leaving comments and up-votes. My vote is 0.01$ worth for now, so I won't help much, but I try to find the most interesting profiles, follow them and they will surely receive support from me in the future.

Ah! I still don't know where I could publish my Diary Game since half of June, when I will have to leave the Nursery. If you have any suggestions for interesting communities in which most speak English, write it in the comments section.

That would be all. I hope you liked my post. If you want to talk about anything related to the things I've described above, feel free to leave the comment.

All the photos included in the post belongs to me.
If you want to know me better, here is my achievement 1

You're welcome @ mati.papi, I hope your day is also fun.

wow! my friend is very happy to visit your diary activity, it is very regrettable that it is only the first day of work and the situation is not supportive, i am sure you will get a better job, one more I look forward to your every post,

Unfortunately being TV reporter didn't work out, but all experience I gained when I was preparing to that job is mine.

My first and only work for now is steemit, all other mini-jobs, like writing the articles to the newspapers is more like volunteering as nobody pays me for that :)

I'm very glad you are reading my Diary Game posts. It gives me a lot of joy seeing that people interact with my publications. Thank you very much for that and have a wonderful day!

your activities today must have been very fun, you had time to watch several shows on television, and you also had time to look for some cheap pants, thank you for sharing the diary with us here.

In fact I did not see anything on TV that day but yes - each day is fun, even if it's busy and full of work. The clue is to find the joy in everyday activities.

Have a great day!

How can I make this markdown?? Please anyone help me

20210517_092412.jpg

Picture with writing

To do it you have to type:
< div class="pull-left" > < center >
Here you have to upload the photo. Leave just the link, remove uploaded text in [ ]
< sub > here description of the photo < /sub >
< /center > < /div >

When you are typing it, don't make spaces between "<", ">" and html code. I have made it just to present the code.

Instead of "pull-left" you can use also "pull-right"
