ACTIVITIES FROM 5 AM TO 12 PM
If you are still lying on a soft bed, I have to get up and go to class, I'm not complaining about the situation but trying to enjoy it. At the Islamic boarding school we have to wake up at 5 in the morning to perform the morning prayer in congregation, if one time we are not present, we are prepared to be punished by our teachers. In our place, the rules are still light, not as heavy as in big and popular Islamic boarding schools, but we still have to maintain time and discipline if we don't want to be fined.
After the morning prayers in congregation we were allowed to return to our respective dormitories and had to go up to the recitation hall at 9 am to 11 am, the recitation began by reading the yellow book and continued with other books according to the schedule that had been prepared. After the recitation is finished, our teacher will absent attendance the students, for those who do not go up to the recitation hall will be fined. And it's strange that every day there are students who don't go up to the study hall because they fall asleep in the dormitory.
ACTIVITIES FROM 12 TO 6 PM
At 11 to 1 pm we usually rest in the dormitory and eat, at one o'clock in the afternoon we have to get ready to go to the prayer room again and perform the dhuhur prayer. After the midday prayer we had to hurry back to the dormitory to change clothes and go up to the recitation hall again until 4 pm. When the call to prayer began to sound, it was a sign that we were allowed to go down and go to the prayer room again to pray Ashar. I do this routine almost every day except on holidays and when I return to my hometown.
Of course, with all these activities that make us tired and sometimes bored of carrying out daily routines, I personally occasionally think of going home and resting, but I know that I am doing all of this for my future. So I will struggle and continue to enjoy my routine even though it is sometimes bitter and the desire goes against my routine.
ACTIVITIES AT NIGHT
Just like the activities in the morning, we keep learning and learning. In a day we spend about 7 hours studying, that's not to mention self-study in the dormitory. At night we start the recitation at 9 to 11 pm, after that we can return to the dormitory to rest and sleep. Usually we don't sleep right away, we study again and then sit and chat with our friends.
When it's time to sleep, we will go back to our respective dormitories to sleep, and my dorm is still very traditional because it still uses wood and Rumbia leaves as the roof to shelter from the rain.
That's what I do every time, and the reason I don't write posts regularly is also because I'm busy. But I still try to write posts when I have free time. Thank you for visiting my post and greetings.
Kind Regards @reza-khem
