The journey to studying & working abroad - be a part of it!

One of the biggest adventures that you could ever embark on is moving to a foreign land, be it to study, work or live there. My journey to move abroad started in 2012; this was when I started making the necessary preparations. It finally happened in November 2014 - when I landed Germany! Lesson to learn: Always prepare yourself well in advance - this will help you to beat any unforeseen delays, denial or disappointments.

The best part of an adventure like this is that, everything looks easy years later; it's like a mother after she has put to bed, she forgets all the troubles before, during and shortly after delivery of the baby.

The life that you dream of tomorrow is the reality of other people today. When you see them, things may appear simple, but most people don’t know how much background work they had to put in from the beginning. If you want something, go for it and be ready to put in the work; you will get as much help as you need if you are ready to do the work.

Stop wasting time wishing and hoping somebody will help you: No amount of DMs and pleading will get you there without the work. Of course, people will help you when the time comes for them to do their part - but you have to do the main works; reach out, pay attention to details and be consistent, amongst other things.

Today it’s a lot easier to move abroad, not just because of the revolution in social media and other digital tools, but sharing information and experiences are becoming things that people do willingly and with so much joy; I am speaking at least from my experience. In addition, you can study 💯% tuition-free in many locations worldwide, you can get fully funded scholarships and you can easily secure a good job and move with your family, if applicable; these and many more are some of the things that I have been helping people with in the last years, and I am happy to bring the same to the #SteemitCommunnity.
