The other day, I paid a visit to the salt production house, located in the north coastal area. To be honest, I have never seen the salt process ever since. I eagerly wanted to get in touch with the makers, as my friend told me there were many outdoor spaces where the salts were processed but when we came down here, we only saw a small production house that was still operating to fulfill the local demand only. The mass production would be seen sometime in February, this year.
As I did not want to come home with an empty hand, I tried to have unofficial interviews with the farmers, and sometimes it's great to get in touch with underprivileged people who made living thru the hardship and struggle to provide for the family. After being some time with them, I was allowed to take a look at the small scale of salt production.
I went inside and started to take pictures. These pics have represented the portraits of the daily life of the coastal people. You know, in ancient times, salt was a very valuable asset which made it into salary and salary come from the word "salt," but in the current century, salt is salt.
