Two Mating Oriental Short-tailed Blue Butterflies

I found these two mating butterflies somewhere around the ditch. I first saw them flying before they made a stop on the twig which then drew me to take a couple of shots while they were having good time. These butterflies are classified into a small blue butterfly that belong to lycaenid which actually can be seen around their small bodies. It was fancy finding them this way, where I might have an insight of the copulation of these two creatures. Tail to tail while the head face the opposite direction, they let tails do the job and it is kind of unique way of mating insects to be observed. By the time I found out this scenes, I managed to capture the romantic moment of these butterflies as I thought these were good to know about mating of the butterflies. So I had sometime to spend, watching them play with their mates but when I was about to shift to another spot, I was caught up by two mating butterflies. I believe, they knew I was close to them, but love was all matter. So, I tried not to disturb their quality time by keeping such a distance to photograph these lovely winged insects.

It's a truly extraordinary sight, one that's hard to capture. Their colors and textures are impossibly beautiful.

A very happy moment, the butterfly looks like it is enjoying its mating season🤗
