Wall Jumping Spider (Menemerus bivittatus)

Another fascinating spider was found with its pray on the wall. I happened to notice this spider was on the wall which urged me to get a few shots. I first sighted, it was killing its pray and soon it saw me with the camera, this spider left its pray. As it was a very small species of spider which I believe I would not be able to take with my DSLR, I used a smartphone plus an external macro instead. I was thrilled to see it calm there, so I could freely take the shots from various angles. What I dearly love about the spider are the eyes that, for a moment, stared at me before it moved away. Unlike the other days when I shot jumping spider, it liked to make long jumps and sometimes it used its skill to block the macro lens which of course I had to spend time waiting for it to return to where it belongs. It's always great to see such a jumping spider, especially their eyes that tempted me so badly to see the detail thru macro lens. Well, I took these photos with a smartphone plus an additional external macro device. It's a small spider that used to jump when it sees something coming up which is then called this eight legs creature as the jumping spider.

Beautiful spider with golden head. Love to see it.

Framed in a reflection, the author shares several photographs of flowers, some of which he describes as macro close-ups. I selected this one where the pistils become the focus of attention on an uninteresting background of pink petals.
