Today I will share with you a story in which I will tell you how I made gifts for my cousin's wedding. I hope you will enjoy reading and get idea.

As you may have guessed from the picture, about the gift. So let me also tell you that I chose the gift of a money bouquet for my cousins and made it myself, which you can see in the picture. I will be happy to share it with you guys.

Tension of choosing a gift

At first it was very difficult for me to decide what to give as my uncle had a son as well as a very good friend. The usual gifts like perfume, watch or clothes were coming to mind but it was a special occasion of marriage so I thought something special should be given.Then I thought of making a customized gift, like an album with their photos, but this too didn't seem special to me. I finally decided to make a money bouquet for them.

Why did I think of making the money bouquet myself?

But at the same time, I thought why not prepare it at home, that way it will save some money.

I'm kidding, if it had cost so much money to make it, it wouldn't have mattered, but my own heart wanted to make it myself, because love shows more in something handmade.

Steps to make money bouquet

First, I bought all the necessary items from the market like wrapping sheets, artificial flowers, foam (to adjust the flowers), tapes, sticks (to roll the money on) and ribbons 🎀 etc.

Materials that were to be used in making the money bouquet

I made flowers by rolling the money first with the help of tapes.I am also attaching a picture of that.

After finishing this work I started to make the flower bouquet which was going to be placed in the middle. I forgot to mention that I had to make 2 money bouquets because two of my cousins were getting married so it took a lot of work and time.A bouquet was made in a small size which my younger brother had to give to a cousin and a bouquet was made a little bigger which I had to give to a cousin also because one of the cousins was a close friend of mine. Because of this I thought of making a big size bouquet for her. It is a natural process that makes a person want more and a person also wants that person more.
Tapes were attached to the bottom of the flowers to keep the work strong.

The flower bouquet for the large size money bouquet was prepared step by step with different colorful flowers that you can see in the pictures.

Now I cut 4 by 4 pieces of foam into a circle and joined them together with black tape to create a volume. And cut a length of foam at the bottom to form a bouquet and cut a small piece of foam at the bottom. Drilled a small hole and inserted it.

Now my favorite step was to attach the flower and money sticks. I placed the flowers in the middle first.

Around the flowers, then a line of fifty rupee notes was placed in the circle. In the big bouquet that was to be made, a line of one hundred rupee notes was first placed, but I could not take a picture of it separately. You will be able to see it in the finished bouquet.

Similarly, step by step, I adjusted the rest of the 20 and 10 note lines in the foam.

Now almost the job was to wrap the sheet around, which was the most difficult task because if the sheet was not wrapped well, it would not look good.I also rapped the sheet in the name of Allah, but then I was too tired to make pictures of it.

One bouquet was prepared during the day, so the picture is clear. The second one finished late at night then took pictures of the two together which didn't come out a bit clear.Now the bouquets were ready but they had to be transported to another city where the wedding took place, so they were packed.

By the time I got there, some of the money sticks had moved out of place and I reset them. And I took the picture of my younger brother holding the bouquet, which you can see below.

Then we gave the bouquets to my cousins on the day of the baraat when they were dressed up as groomsmen and took some pictures.
