On this occasion, I want to share some pictures about Planthopper. I found this planthopper in the plantation area and they often perch on the leaves which is their favorite place. These planthoppers are one of the most annoying pests, they will damage various crops if they land on them. Farmers usually eradicate them with pesticides, I think that's the only way they can be eradicated. They are insects with a small size that makes them sometimes very difficult to find, we have to look for them carefully in order to find them. I saw them a lot of perch on plants that have thick leaves, usually they will hide behind the leaves

Planthoppers have a very unique body shape, they are very small, and they are very difficult to find. This Planthopper actually has a variety of colors, but this time I found it with a light brown color which Planthoppers with this color are often found in the wild. Planthoppers have large eyes which make them unique. Their eyes have patterns of the same color as those on their bodies, it makes their eyes sometimes escape from view. Planthoppers have four legs all of which are in the front area of their body. They have wings that taper to the back of their body and make their hindquarters slightly more pointed. Planthoppers are the only insects that do not have antennae in front of their heads which makes them a bit unique from other insects.

The most difficult thing of all is that when trying to capture pictures of them, they are also very agile animals. They can move around if they feel threatened because they are insects that are slightly sensitive to the surrounding area. But with faith and hard work, I managed to get some photos of them. If you want to see it, please check the photo below.
