Heartly Hello to everyone,
today i want to tell you about some Tattoos i made by myself. So, i'm not a professional tattoo-artist, read here how i made my current tattoos.
So many say that don't look good or like a child draw them, at least for this one:
But hey, i'm cool with it. The important part is, that i'm really happy with it and what others though about it is not that important to me ;)
Also since you don't know how it looked previously: It was only the outer lines, without the spices or triangles inside. And previous to that it was just the body without the feets. And then again before that it was only it's tail.
That's because i'm not really good at drawing. So i startet with the tip of the tail one night, so i know exactly which was the first point i made.
And then for long time nothing. After some time i asked a friend if she can draw it for me, so that i can easy follow the lines. She intended that she's not able to draw it's legs. Which wasn't a big deal for me, at least i got forward with my tattoo and it looked like more than just some rubbish tail.
Then again, for long time nothing. One evening i tried to draw the legs by myself. I started with it's front right leg, which i made a bit of a mess. So i let it look like it's showing the peace sign^^ The other three legs went pretty well, for my skills.
And after some longer time, again an evening or at night, i started to make those triangles and now i'm really happy with it :)
Then my second tattoo:
Even if it's my second tattoo, it's the tattoo which started everything. Let me explain:
I watched a movie, Zoo Station, it's about the famous drug-girl from germany, Christiane F.
And in that movie Detlef, her crush and later boyfriend, had that tattoo. Some minutes later in the movie they showed how Christiane made that tattoo by herself, the same way i made them, and that was the part which bring me on the though: Hey, that's easy, i will do it like her!
So instead of starting with something little i just came with the idea of the gecko^^ and later on i made that one. Which came out pretty well :) it was a bit tricky, since i'm right handed and i made the tattoo on my right hand, which means i've made it with my left hand.
So my next tattoo will not be made by myself but by a friend of mine who is a (still in learning but) professional tattoo-artist.
He moved to vienna and at the end of november some friends of us and i go to visit him for some days. And there he will made my new tattoo.
First i've thought that i want to make it by myself again, i just need a stancil from him, since if i make one professional it doesn't fit with the others, because it's professional and not with single dots but with a line.
So i told him my tattoo idea, he wasn't amoused that i want to make it by myself, since it can have some grave impact on health. But he will look for a design. I told him also why i want it to do by myself and he said that many think the same, that a tattoo in another form doesn't fit with the others. He also had only black tattoos and now he has one eith some bit of red in it. First he thought that it wont fit with the others too, but now he likes it.
After that i told him what that tattoo means for me (that part comes later in the post) and there i stumbled across my mind: wait a second... That tattoo idea has a more meaningful meaning, not like the others "i saw it in TV and liked it" or "i just wanted a tattoo" or something. So since that new tattoo has a deeper meaning it would fit, when i make it the professional way.
But now i don't want to write much more. I want to tell you my tattoo idea and it's meaning ;)
My idea is some textphrase, a composition of two phrases to be more specific, which get connected by another word:
ANGELS DESERVE TO DIE BUT LEGENDS NEVER DIE
This comes from my down-phases, which come from the lyrics of System of a Down's Chop Suey. There they sing "i cry when angels deserve to die" and at this point in the lyrics i wanted to jump off a bridge (not their version of the song, but the Never Surrender's remix of Paul Elstak's When angels deserve to die). So it reasembles death
One time at a down-phase my best friend told me "but you must think: legends never die" which brings the second part of the tattoo,l that reasembles life.
Those two phrases gets combined with the small path between life and death, which will be demonstrated by the word but.
So it really has a deeper meaning this time and it's some win win situation for both of us: i get a really cool tattoo and my friend can learn a bit while he makes my tattoo, i told him it's totally equal if he messes it a bit up, it must not be perfect, so he has fewer pressure and can concentrate more. I told him as long as he don't fails and tattoos butt instead of but or something like this, everything is fine^^ And he also gets more win out from that since we are his friends and came out to stay a bit with him, we have planty of time to make a good video for his advertising on social networks. Like we could make some interview where we talk a bit about how i came to that motive and so on and then the video shows how he tattoos me, while a friend of us could film that, and at the end we make a bit of feedback round :)
So it should be some cool days with a cool tattoo at the end. I'm really looking forward for that days :)
Sincerely,
BlackButterfly666
