A day as a Carpenter

Good Day Everyone,

Yesterday was a busy day. I decided to adjust the kitchen hood to fit with the exhaust fan, as I shared the exhaust fitting process earlier. I detached the hood from the main body and measured the height of the exhaust fan. It was roughly 13 inches, so I needed to cut the top of the hood by 13 inches. I had a manual saw, but it was difficult because my saw was not in good condition.

Somehow, I managed to cut halfway through the sheet of the hood and then broke the other side. I cut all three sides to 13 inches. Then, I set the hood back in its position, and it fit perfectly. I am happy with my work and feel good about doing it myself with the tools I had at home. Here are some interesting pictures.

I'm pleased with the result and proud of my DIY skills!
