Hello there community members, I hope everyone is well and doing good. Today I am going to share some insect photography of a beetle. Its skin is loos like rusty metal. I took these photographs by using Samsung NX Mini by attaching an external lens. I used a 10X macro lens to took these photographs [hs. I hope you like these macro photographs. Beetles belong to the Coleoptera order (/koliptr/), which is part of the Endopterygota superorder. Their front wings have solidified into wing-cases, called elytra, which distinguishes them from most other insects. With almost 400,000 species, the Coleoptera is the biggest of all orders, accounting for nearly 40% of all documented insects and 25% of all known animal life-forms; new species are found on a regular basis. This order contains the biggest family of all, the Curculionidae (weevils), which has over 83,000 species.^source
