Elephants are one of the animals that are very close to humans. Therefore, many of the poisoned elephants were taken for their ivory by irresponsible people. The elephants in this photo are wild elephants that have been tamed in one of the conservation areas in Aceh Jaya.
Some time and opportunity that I visited, there were 4 elephants that were tamed and cared for in this conservation in Aceh Jaya. How lucky we were when we took shelter in the morning and spent the night there, we were able to bathe and take care of the elephant.
