Back again with me @Khairoel, and on this occasion I again share some macro photography of the Golden Tailed Ant (Polyrhachis Ammon). This ant is a unique and beautiful species, because it has a body covered with thick fur and smooth with a golden black color which gives it a very attractive metallic sheen.

These ants are very common we meet in open forests. And likes to forage on the ground and run around in tree trunks during the day and is also active at night. And when these ants mature, their bodies reach a length of 6-8mm and also have a pair of strong horizontal spines on the propodeum.

Then these ants also have various nesting habits, some nest in the ground, under rocks and also in log holes or tree trunk holes. And some of them make their nests among the leaves of trees and bushes.

I found this ant in the forest near my village, when I was hunting for photos in the forest.
