THERMAL SPRINGS in Rome surroundings

Hello beautiful people! Today I would like to share with you our experience in thermal springs not far away from Rome city - in Viterbo to be more specific.

My boyfriend and I are huge fans of water activities, so when we found out Italy was covered with thermal springs - from luxurious spa hotels to free-of-charge thermal springs, there could be no other decision to be made but going out there.

We did not have a car, so we took a direct train from Rome to Viterbo (around 2,5 hours), and from there, we took a 10 minutes taxi trip to the thermal complex "Bagnaccio Terme & Natura." The entrance ticket for the entire day costs 7 euros per person. The complex includes two main hot shallow pools comfortable for sitting, and three smaller pools with different temperatures. There are also tables, changing rooms, toilettes, and a vending machine with snacks. In any case, my advice for you is to bring sandwiches or something solid to eat.

The complex has no indoor space - everything is located outside. All this was just perfect in our case because the temperature outside was around 13 degrees. So when seated inside of the pool with your head out, you feel incredibly chilled and calm.

We spent the whole day in peace and serenity and were more than happy by the end of the day. I do recommend you this place or any other thermal springs to escape from hectic city life and devote some time for yourself or your beloved ones.
