Poem
Suppression of Depression
'Suicide has become the Messiah '
That was the pain of your desire
With many years of Suppression
Living a whole in depression
You gave out your hand
Little do i know of you
Nor does any other know
For life is just but a shadow
Its reality does exist
But from our eyes unseen
You were Rachael
But i call you Toluwani
You started a good fight
But chose the wrong track
Now you've lost the crown
Who told you you can't
Make it to the sky?
Why hold you your thoughts
All alone?
Why Racheal!
Though seclusion is the act for poets
Or so they said
Must thought lead to death?
Did thought elude you of mummy's love?
Of course she loved you
If suicide must be your choice
Yes you that reads at me
Let it be at the ovary
Birth and death are acts unconscious
So, let your hand off your life
For life is a loan
Spend it wisely!
