Steem has been the best activity so far in my daily life. Without steem, I wouldn't have known somethings I know now. I learned many things from it which has being so helpful to me in my daily activities.
I joined steem on 17/04/2021, and it was introduced to me by a friend @fadil1. He helped me to complete achievement one https://steemit.com/hive-172186/@padmore/achievement-1-by-padmore-introduction-post and I am now on achievement two, which currently I am waiting for approval from my country's representatives @njaywan and @oppongk. I am now a month older on steem and I really appreciate all that I have learned from it so far.
First and foremost, one of the best things I have learned from steem is, how to express myself when writing essays, stories, articles and even final exams, and how to present my work on the steem communities. Well expression of oneself on what one intends to bring out on paper and speech is much a thousands time one will always need daily. It makes people understand what I am putting across or delivering, and in that case people will be able to learn from you.
Furthermore, I also learned about security tips, one of the key things everyone needs in life. Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs made us to understand that security is important and it's deserved by everyone. Security can be put into two categories, security for life and security for security.
Security for life talks about the safety things you are supposed to do to protect the life of oneself and others as well from dangers all threats. This king of security prevents murders and attacks by criminals.
Security for property also talks about the protocols one needs to follow keep his or her properties as safe as possible. Properties such as, bank account details, ones wallet, money cars, and even house. This prevents criminals from having access to them anyway. My achievement two https://steemit.com/hive-172186/@padmore/achievement-2-task-basic-security-on-steem-by-padmore-monitored-by-cryptokannon which was based security tips, taught me security not only relating to steem, but in everything, including my life and others. I can now boldly say from my know on security, my life and my properties and carefully protected.
Moreover, steem also taught me how to avoid anti-social acts, which can lead to the infringement of one's right to own property. This act is normally referred to as plagiarism. Plagiarism is the act of taking someone's work to your work without permission or referencing or sourcing. It is really a bad habit and needs to be avoided, and all those who are involved into in should be suctioned or dealt with according to the law. The knowledge I obtained from plagiarism has really help me in my daily activities, especially when I am writing my laboratory report after practicals. It helps on how to do proper referencing and sourcing in order not to go against the law, by taking others work as mine, this has always made my work legal and acceptable.
Finally, there is one other thing I have learned from steem, which is, hard work and dedication. It has taught me to be hard working and dedication to duties. Steem earnings may be slow, but with hard work and dedication, you will make it, it's all about perseverance. As the saying goes "No Pain, No Gain", we need to suffer before we can gain what we want.
With the above lessons I have learned from steem, I am still hoping to learn more.
Thank you very @abduhawab for this interesting and educative contest
