Carpenter bees are one type of bee that often makes nests by making holes in wood, these bees can damage the roof wood of our houses, because the wood will be perforated to be used as a place to live for this type of bee.
This bee's food, like other types of bees, is flower essence. they will fly and perch from one flower to another.
