Hey fam. Good to be here again! Today I’d be sharing this painting of Cristiano I did recently with acrylics on canvas.

I respect him so much especially his longevity, this can only be achieved through discipline and intense training!

I started with a brown under painting to serve as a fine base for layering, then I sketched out the blocks of the face with a brush.

Pop art involves a lot of blocking in of colors, the image is simplified into different shapes that show value variation, from the lightest to the darkest.
