Hello friends! I hope everyone is always in good health and always in successful for all friends wherever you are. Agee days ago I went to Bolpur(Santiniketan). One of the most beautiful and attractive place was that. There was a place name Srijani Shilpagram. It is mainly seven state of musium.
Here the living culture of East India and Northeast India is displayed. Such as our Bengal, Orissa, Jarkhand, Manipur, Andaman, Nicobar etc.
There will be many episode about this musium. One by one I will highlight the living culture of each state among to you and if I can, I will try to give you some information about this.
Today I am going to show you show you a small part of this musium called "Putul Ghar". I will try to give you some information about that.

(1) Danger Putul- West Bengal
Danger putul is a rod puppet from the southern region of West Bengal . The puppets are made of wood and clay and the body is printed on wood. Puppets have holes in both their hands to inset bow, arrow, etc In the hole. For a single puppet there are several hands so that replacing only the hand and costumes can change the character of the puppet.
The troupes perform a ritual song in their temporary abode,before coming to the stage. Initially ,the plays were mostly myths and legends but now it has been replaced by the operatic plays.
The multiplication hands the puppets on one-to-one basis, according to the spoken dialogue. The man who manipulates the dance puppet, ties ghunghroo in his anklets each.
Harmonies, clarient,corner ,nagar, cymbal, kansi, flute,and sometimes violin are used to the accompaniment of folk song and tunes of popular Bengali modern song.
