"MY CORNER OF THE WORLD"

Greetings! Friends of Steemit and Ukraine on Steem.

This is my second post in the context "MY CORNER OF THE WORLD 🌍" #12!

I belong to City of Kolkata in India. Last Sunday I visited a very important part of the city with lots of heritage as well as government premises like Akash Vani Bhaban, Assembly House, Governor House as well as Eden Garden where BCCI is situated with Club House. In Eden Garden so many tests have been held. Indian Premier league, Cricket World Cup matches have been played. I couldn't enter on the day but I witnessed many maches earlier. I took photos from outside.

Earlier days Kolkata Derby football matches were also played here. On 16 August 1980, 16 fans died in Kolkata Derby football match played in Eden Garden stadium. Unfortunately I don't realise that such massacre had happened inspite of being present in the stadium. That was a back day of Kolkata football.

The current capacity of stadium is 68000 people.
