I wonder why you are worried that you bombed Yugoslavia, but you justify the invasion of russia into a neighboring country by the bad actions of the West.

This is easy to explain. I am not justifying war. No matter who against whom. I don't know if you were in the military, but it's the same everywhere. They beat your duties into you every day, but nobody tells you about your rights.

We were young and, as already mentioned, we had no opportunity to scrutinise anything like we do today. We were indoctrinated daily, following the example of the USA, that we were fighting for democracy. We had no idea what it was really about. We knew nothing about the various territories such as Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, etc.

I was still lucky at the time because I was in a transport battalion and wasn't directly on the front line, but I had my doubts back then when the press and politicians said that Germany was only involved with humanitarian aid. As I said, after WW2 an important point in the constitution was that Germany would never again take part in a war outside its borders and would only serve in defence.

That was exactly the same bullshit back then as it is today, because I know what I loaded onto the trucks and it had nothing to do with humanitarian aid.

Afghanistan, Niger, Somalia, Kuwait, Rwanda, Iraq, etc. The same story everywhere. Without the US military base in Ramstein in Germany, none of these wars would be possible for the USA, because the central reconnaissance station is there and everything was and still is coordinated from there.

Germany is still not a sovereign state and is occupied by the victorious powers. Only the former Soviet Union withdrew its troops after the fall of the Berlin Wall. All the others still have their military bases there.

No one is going to destroy russia, you can be calm. We just need to repel the invasion. That's all we need.

I wish people would think the same way, especially in Germany. I bet you haven't heard that there are many opposition politicians in Germany who are in favour of leaving NATO and the bullshit EU and being neutral, like Switzerland was.

The politicians who are in power and take their orders from Washington don't want that. There are enough hardliners who literally say "we" will fight to the last Ukrainian.

Wtf is that? A good example is the former US Secretary of State Viktoria Nuland, who was deeply involved in the things that happened in Ukraine 10 years ago. In a telephone conversation with other warmongers, she literally said. Fuck the EU.

If an ordinary person says that, then he can do it. But as foreign minister, that's a no-go.

It's completely crazy in Germany. There are now new "anti-discrimination laws" that go so far as to penalise you if you use the wrong pronouns. If you see a strong, burly man with a full beard on the street and you say : "Have a good day, Sir. I hope you are well, Sir."

If this "gentleman" reports you to the police because he identifies as a woman and "feels discriminated", you will get a heavy fine in the first case. If it happens again, you could even end up in prison.

Fortunately, there aren't very many German-speaking Steemit users, otherwise it would certainly be controlled and the "woke lefties" would run amok.
