Heartiest Greetings and love to all friends wherever you are !

Peace be upon you all the guys. I am sure that all the steemians doing well by the mercy of Allah Almighty. Once again I am here for taking part in the culinary contest which is organized by our respected lady @maraim.dariam . I am thankful to her for organizing this contest every week because we show our cooking skills by this contest. I am going to share with you common dish named by " Bitter gourd chicken". I am good in making this dish. It has many potential benefits for health like it is beneficial for diabetes. Bitter gourd also improves the insulin.

Ingredients Required :

  • Bitter Gourd half kg
  • Chicken half kg
  • Onion three big size
  • Chopped Tomato and green chilli
  • Salt one table spoon, Red chilli flakes two tea spoon , red chilli powder one tea spoon and turmeric powder one tea spoon.

Preparation Method :

Step 1

Add three to four table spoons of ghee in the pan and put it on the stove. Left it for heat. When it is heated add the chicken in it.

Fry it well. Fry the chicken untill it gives the light brown color. Fry it on low flame. It gives a beautiful color after frying. Fry the chicken and separate in plate.

Step 2

After frying the chicken add bitter gourd in it the same ghee. Squeeze a half lemon juice in it. Add half tea spoon of salt in it. Adding these ingredients the will not make the bitter gourd bitter. Then mix it and fry it well. Fry it almost for ten minutes on low flame. Its green color looks very beautiful.

Step 3

After frying the bitter gourd add onions into it. Also fry it for five to ten minutes on medium flame.

Step 4

After frying it add the fried chicken into it. Left it for cook for five minutes on low flame.

Step 5

Then after that add all the mentioned spices into it. Remember one thing I could not add garlic paste into it. Mix it well. Cover it with a lid and left it for cook on low flame.

Step 6

After required time the chicken bitter gourd is ready.

If you like then garnish it with fresh green coriander otherwise add it into plate and enjoy the meal.
