My master’s degree project defense.

Introduction

Someone that sees me rocking this “tie and suit” will think i am the owner… they wouldn’t have the slightest clue it was a borrowed item that I wore to celebrate my Masters defense in school. I came for my project defense without any single hope I was going to succeed in passing my “plagiarism test” that my thesis had to go through after 5 failed attempts. The worse part about it is that, each time your thesis fail the plagiarism test, you have to pay a good amount of money to run another test. The plagiarism software kept updating itself making it very hard to scale through.

This particular day was the last set of people to do there project defense. I initially came to see my friends do there defense but I kept my fingers crossed, in case I passed the plagiarism test. I wish you guys could see the excitement when I finally passed the plagiarism test. Someone out there would think I’ve won a lottery ticket that day. My guys quickly lent me their suit and tie, so I could go and defend my project. The one on the red jacket, is the owner of the “tie” while the other guy on white shirt is the owner of the suit.

I don’t know who have watched the movie, “Charlie’s angels”. I was the Charlie to this beautiful angels but unfortunately, my name isn’t Charlie mine is Sammy. If they were on Steemit today, I would have contested the name “steem angels” with @weisser-rabe and her crew. This ladies were a blessings to my life. I almost entered a problem with a lecturer because of the lady on purple jacket. (Ifeoma). The lecturer had interest in her but the lady wasn’t interested. So because of how close we were, he thought we were dating and I was the reason she didn’t respond to his advances. It was our course representative eventually cleared the air.

The dark lady (Ebere) is an identical twin but she’s in a different faculty. Among us, she was the daring and bold one. Whenever we were given group assignments by our lecturers, she was always the one doing the presentation because she’s really a good orator. I mostly handle the research materials while ifeoma was the money bag!! Ebere can be troublesome at times but when she notices they are about to over power, that’s when she drags me into the mess to come and fight for her. We’d something going between us but it was short lived.

Later that day , we all went out to celebrate our victories in a lounge called “Higi-Haga” in Port Harcourt. It was an exciting moment that night. There was lots of barbecue fish and alcohol to go round. Some of our lecturers later came to join us including that lecturer that wanted to steal one of my angel from me. He was expecting her to be there unfortunately she didn’t show up. Nonsense man… lol.

This are memories, I can never forget and I’m glad to be part of this contest to share about my experience during the day of my master’s degree defense
