In this graffiti picture, a significant incident of Bangladesh is depicted. In July of this year, students began a protest calling for the abolition of quotas in the employment sector in our country. The government's stance against the students in the quota reform movement, combined with some negative comments from the Prime Minister, transformed the students' anti-quota movement into an anti-government movement. Police and political circles attacked the peaceful movement of unarmed students. Due to which many innocent students were martyred. It was a tragic moment for our nation.

In the face of anti-discrimination student movement, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on August 5 and left the country. As a result, our country became independent again on August 5. With the newly independent country comes the freedom to paint graffiti on the walls. These graffiti on the walls are a symbolic means of protesting against injustice. And this graffiti was painted on the wall of the railway station to remember the martyred students in the quota movement. The names of the martyred students are written on the graffiti. I took the picture from Parbatipur Railway Station.

I took the second picture from the wall of a building at Tangail Railway Station. The artist's paint is stronger than the weapon and that's why the themes of graffiti carry so much importance. "The sun has risen in our city" is written on the second graffiti. Through this writing it is revealed that the reformation of our country has taken place, which means we regained our independence.

Thank you so much, @slon21veka, for organizing such a wonderful contest. I would like to invite @nanidi, @ridwant, and @pelon53 to participate in this competition.
