The heinous crime that has shocked our nation's soul took place with a 31-year-old trainee doctor in Kolkata's R.G.Kar hospital

Doctors have gone on nation wide strike, the protesters were attacked by miscreants, and the hospital was being ransacked tempering evidence of the murder.

In the meantime time the Supreme Court of India took the sumoto congnigence of the case in order over view the status of the situation. Supreme court ordered immediately withdrawal of nation wide strick and posted CISF in RGKar hospital and college.

After Kolkata, we got this news from Uttarakhand. A similar incident with a nurse.

During protest at R G Kar Hospital juniors Doctors installed a statue in sad memory of Abhay in the hospital premises. It was a very auspicious day on 2nd October when it was inaugurated by the victim's family members. Most of the doctors pay their homage to her with flowers and garland. They also took oath to get fair justice which is still pending at a court trial. As the case is under Investigation by the Central Agency the first chrgesheet has been framed and submitted. Only one person named Sanjay Rai has been acussed. It is expected to release of subsequent change sheets where more persons may be accused.

In the meanwhile the Juniors Doctors Front sat on dharna with ten chater of demands for the general administration, safety, security and medical infrastructure which are lacking in most of the hospitals. However some of the promises by state authority make them restrain from sit-in protest. But many of their Major demands were not fulfilled. For that reason they also went for Hunger strike. After 17 days they brock hunger strike at the request of the parents of the victim.
