Hi everyone!
This is the 13th part of my series of writings about uncommon sea creatures. Today I would like to talk about the Frilled Shark. It can be said as one of the most bizarre-looking species.

These sharks are found in the middle of the ocean and it's one of the most primitive shark species that haven't changed much in millions of years.

The unique feature of this shark is, it has about three hundred sharp teeth which have been aligned in twenty-five rows. The average length of these sharks is almost more than six feet and the size of the male shark is a bit smaller than the female.

The body of these sharks is much similar to eel. The head is different as the jaw is attached to the back of the head instead of under the skull. Their habitats are six thousand feet deep in the sea. They mostly eat squids.

Thanks for reading my post. Hope that you have learned something new. If you have ever seen this sea fascinating creature then comment below and let me know about it.😀

Best regards
