Hello friends,

This is my last entry for the week of this engagement challenge. So far the week has been very rough and unfriendly to me, as well as so many rejections from most of the scholarship applications I made. I am also job hunting so as to sustain myself and it has not been easy so far. I am glad I am able to write this challenge as it gives me joy and ease me from my stress and worries of life. Read along with me as I share my entry.
Tell us in the Most Creative way, what is the story of your birth?
On a hot afternoon, my mum who usually sells the harvest products from her farm in different local markets to help sustain the family, came back and was really tired after a stressful day. There was nobody at home as my dad has gone to his textile shop, while my siblings had all gone to school. She prepared Rice and catfish pepper soup in the morning before leaving for the market and did not eat as she was sure of selling off her products on time. As she came back, she had a bowl full of rice and pepper soup, and decided to rest a little. After taking a nap for like 15mins, she became uneasy and went to the toilet to urinate, just then, she realized that her water has broken. There was no cell phones at that time and the neighbors had all gone to work. She quickly rushed into the house to get things for my birth, but I really could not wait any longer as she gave birth to me right inside the room. It was a neighbor called Regina that usually comes to buy some products from her that came to check up on her to see if there was any product available that witnessed the whole incident. Immediately, Regina rushed her to the hospital and the nurses attended to my mum and me. It was Regina that went to inform my dad in his textile shop about his wife’s delivery. My mum said she was very happy to have me and she has always begged God to give her a female child as the last child.
Have you had any particular experience with a pregnant woman?
Yes, my Elder sister gave birth to her third child the same way I was brought into this world. She was having constant sickness and troubles with her pregnancy and she invited me to come stay with her. I watched her all through, assisted her in house chores and made sure she was very okay. Well, when you expect a child to be born, is not when they usually come out. I left on the 30th of May to come back the following week, as I need to attend to something important in school. On the 1st of June, she gave birth to her son inside the room, and no one was available. She cleaned herself up as well as removing the placenta. My sister is indeed a strong woman. She did all these before her husband could come back from work, and then took her to the hospital where the nurses confirmed that she was very okay and doing fine.
Did you inherit any disease from your parents? Tell us in details.
As far as I can remember, there is no known disease I inherited from my parents. I am still strong and healthy and nothing has surfaced yet. My mum suffers from ulcer while my dad suffers from high blood pressure. I have Not experienced any of that yet.
During your childhood, Do you remember any recurring illnesses?
As I child, I usually suffer from nose bleeding. I bleed almost every single day of my life. Whenever I bleed, I remember my mum asking me to lift my head backwards for a while. I kept suffering this for years, I was taken to the hospital severally and drugs administered but it still continued. At the age of twelve that was how I stopped suffering from the bleeding. Till today as I speak, I have not experienced it again.
I will like to invite @ruthjoe @patjewell @goodybest to participate in this contest
I can see that your mom is really hard working and has really worked hard to see that her family is good. She has given birth to you in the most beautiful way.
Thanks for the story.

@beautiefair, It was a blessing that Regina showed up at your mother's house when your birth was taking place and took her to the hospital where, thank God, you were delivered without complications.
This is how she is a friend of hers, children are born when God decides, Although you were aware of her, her delivery was unexpected.
I'm sure your sister is a very strong woman, it's not easy to have a child with no one to support her during childbirth.
You are a strong and healthy woman. You do not have any disease associated with your parents and I hope it will always be so.
Nothing pleasant that situation that you went through during your childhood something worrying the constant bleeding through the nostrils.
Something that today is a thing of the past for your peace of mind and that of your family.
Friend, please review your publication Since in the first part it has several repeated paragraphs.
