Greetings to you, friends, and welcome to my post. Today, I am so excited to take part in the contest that is organized by @steemithealth. In this post, I have discussed the things that I did last week to stay healthy.
Staying healthy is all we usually desire because health is wealth. In my own case, as of last week, despite the fact that I found myself in a strange land, I still did most of the things that I usually did to keep myself fit.
Keeping myself healthy usually involves either spending my time doing exercises, eating good food, or having enough rest. Although, as I have earlier said, last week was the week that I traveled to a new base, since reaching the place, I haven't gone out to either a field or a stadium where sports activities usually take place. Despite that, I still do indoor and outdoor exercises to keep myself healthy. Some of the exercises are:
Indoor and outdoor exercises
As of last week, I ensured that I exercised my body each time I woke up in the morning. Whenever I woke up in the morning after praying and studying my Bible, I stood up from my bed and began doing exercises such as straightening my hands and doing sit-ups before starting my day.
Having enough sleep
As of last week, I ensured that I spent quality time sleeping in the afternoon. Throughout last week, I did go to sleep once it was 12 p.m. and woke up around 2 p.m. I believe in resting after working for about 5 hours.
Sleeping is a state in which we reduce our consciousness, which is the main reason why it's recommended by doctors that we sleep at least 8 hours a day. I do sleep for two hours in the afternoon to maintain a healthy body.
Eating of fruits
Fruit is what I don't joke with. As of last week, I ensured that I ate fruit salad to keep myself healthy. Eating fruits usually keeps me healthy and refreshes my skin. Eating fruits usually makes me feel comfortable, as they are good for digestion and build up our bodies.
Going shopping
Also, as of last week, I went shopping. In order for me to maintain good health, I went shopping for foodstuffs, where I then bought bath soap and body cream. Bathing and applying cream is a way of keeping our skin fresh, which I did last week.
